Lights On Emendy - Old Ep

Really good. Sounds like Merchant Ships if they kept going. Its under their old band name so you will have to change track names.

Age Sixteen

"Age sixteen plays a very distinctive style of emo with clean fast guitars, spacey reverb, and complex drumming, often compared toSuis La Lune, with vocals sounding somewhat similar to a more emotional/aggressive Bear vs. Shark" BULLSHIT just straight up screamy vocals with a clean guitar. Listen to these guys if you like Boy problems ect.

Make Me (Baby)

"Hailing from New Brunswick, New Jersey, Make Me combined the quiet and upbeat melodies of mid/late 90’s emo like American Football with harsh, screamed vocals to create a fun and original take on the “screamo” genre. Existed from 2004 to 2006."

Blakfish

Post-hardcore band from the UK best song on the mini-album is "Jeremy Kyle Is A Marked Man".8/10

Owen - New Leaves

I feel like an asshole for uploading this (Im sure alot of bloggers feel this way when they upload something important to them) I just feel like this is something so good that it should be shared. After a so-so album "At Home With Owen" Mike is on top form again. The album reaches it's peak on "Amnesia And Me" and the lyrics are as rad as ever. 9/10

Hop Along, Queen Ansleis

"Frances makes silly folk songs that might make you smile or sigh. she has two brothers, and they are both drummers. One’s in a band called Hey Hey, and they are great. The other brother is great solo. Frances has a new album out, called “freshman year.” If you like stories and singing and yelling and bells and banjos and drums and some kazoo, you might like this. Hope to smile and sigh with you at the next show."

Kitty Party

"Kitty Party is a small band consisting of 4 guys who hang out a lot together and generally like being around each other and other people." Good solid math rock with that fun edge on them.

Justin Vernon

Justin Vernon from "Bon Iver" fame plays some more of that soul-ful acoustic music we love. Ohh and his voice is so lower in this shit. I'm also trying out a diet were i dont eat cheese, nuts or food with oil and only drink water. It's all good

Friend/Enemy

"Friend/Enemy is the new release from the confounding and prolific collective that brought us Cap’n Jazz, Joan of Arc and Owls. Spattering, loud, wild and moody. Lyrical twists forming scenarios previously unimagined." Just another Kinsella project and a monster at that. Feels like Owls at moments may be to avant garde for some people.

"Drawing Trees is Them, Roaringtwenties’ guitarist continuing on with that jazz-influenced math-rock sound by himself. It’s pretty. It’s calming"
